Philosophy

The core idea behind Very Good Calendar Sync is simple. Given a source and target calendar, make sure that all events from source will show up in target.

Additionally, no calendar data is exposed outside the calendars a user chooses to synchronise into. Meaning Very Good Calendar Sync keeps all data local and local only! Calendar data is sensitive and should never be transferred outside where it's needed.

This is why Very Good Calendar Sync only keeps track of event identifiers to keep everything synchronised. The actual content of each event is not stored anywhere except in the events themselves.
